On average, Riverside has around 800 thousand plants growing at our nursery at any one time.
This number increases to over 1 million plants just before the planting season (around April each year). All our plants are grown at our 2 nursery sites in Rangiora and combined they give us over 12acres of prime growing space.
Over the last few years (2018-2022) we have put a lot of effort in to enhancing the growing areas and building multiple greenhouses to help us produce high quality plants with higher success rates. Our newest greenhouse also gives us the ability to propagate more of our plants from seed right here at the nursery.
